Ramen Pop up at Dio Mio
The RiNo hotspot Dio Mio {3264 Larimer Street, Denver; 303.562.1965} is throwing down tonight with a ramen pop-up. Collaborating with Highlands ramen heavyweight, Uncle, the menu will feature three types of ramen (including Kimchi Ramen with squid ink noodles and pork belly), three buns, small plates, sake by the can, and other inspired cocktails. Veggie options will be available for both ramen and buns selections. The restaurant is open at 5pm and is first come, first serve.
Dinner and a Movie for Denver Film Festival
Ramen and a movie? Denver, you know how to make our hearts sing. On Wednesday, November 8th, the SIE FilmCenter will be screening Ramen Heads hosted by Denver Film Society. The documentary follows Chef Osamu Tomita, Japan’s four-time reigning ramen champion, through his painstaking process of creating the perfect bowl. The film also covers five other notable ramen shops, showcasing the history and culture behind Japan’s most treasured dish. Following the screening, Bones will take over the kitchen at The Goods for a ramen feast paired with local Colorado craft sake producer, Gaijin 24886, and dessert from The Chocolate Lab. The film will be screened at the SIE FilmCenter, on Wednesday, November 8 at 6:45 pm. Click here to learn more.
